“Four More Moments”

Here are four more moments from my friend Kris’ wedding dance.  To those I mentor:  Be patient and allow the moments to unfold while always being ready with the shutter button.  It can be tempting to quickly check out what you think might have been a nice moment right after taking it—resist this urge and don’t check until the story finishes revealing itself.  Trust that your manual settings are correct and pay attention to your subject rather than your gear.  As you can see here, there are several different emotional expressions within a span of two minutes.

This past weekend I attended the wedding of Kristine Hess, one of my closest friends in the whole world.  It was a weekend filled with great friends, food and laughter.  This series is just a few of my visual memories of that time.  Enjoy.
