the process of remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

“Window Show”

While walking around Phoenixville with some friends I was drawn to these two putting on a puppet and juggling show behind their store window.  After I took this photo a guy came out to encourage us to come back for a show later that night.  Having already made plans to see a gigantic wooden phoenix burn we had to take a pass this time around.

Great shot Andrew. I kind of find the puppet fairy a little intimidating. Its amazing the talent that some people have.

Agreed… This photo is a wee bit scary!

I’m not sure if it’s the intensity of the colors (that yellow hallway!), or the slightly out-of-focus fairy face (when the puppeteer is looking directly at us) with those disorienting reflections on the glass. Lots going on! Nice work, as always, Andrew… =)

Haha!  Yeah I too find it pretty frightening. I don’t like dolls, puppets, clowns or most children’s entertainment figures!  There was a reason why I didn’t go back for the show.
