Visiting The Johnsons: A Visual Diary (2 of )
A photographer’s muse deals with situations like this all the time. Anna Maria, like my wife, obviously deals with it with much humor and grace. With the volume of photographs Steve and I make of our wives, I’m pretty sure archeologists a few hundred years from now will most likely conclude that these women were some sort of highly revered deities of their time. ;-)
A funny side note: while talking about photographing Anna Maria, Steve remarked that he figured out that she photographs best with a 40mil focal length and horizontal composition due to her small bone structure. The sad and awesome thing about this is that I knew exactly what he was talking about and nodded my head in approval. Geeks? No Doubt!

There should be a T-shirt: “I photograph best with a 40m focal length and a horizontal composition.”
Oh–and they actually are highly revered deities of our time.

“Highly revered deities” –ha! I don’t mind that. I noticed that the portrait you posted of me was not with a 40 mm focal length. But you are allowed to have your own interpretation of AM.

Well, like you said, Andrew felt the need to interpret AM in his own way.
