The Hang Part 6
Michael and I didn’t go to college together, but over the years he has become as close and as dear of a friend as anyone in our little group. It is now hard to imagine our group without his wit and sense of humor. He is always quick with a line, but you will only have to hang around him briefly to see his sensitive and loving heart. No wonder my “tough as nails” but incredibly sweet friend Mindy married him.
Michael and I had a little bit of history before we actually met face to face. A few years back I got a call from this dude (Michael) saying that he got my number from our mutual friend Rachel (she is responsible for introducing Mindy and him to each other) and wanted to know if I would help him with asking my friend Mindy to marry him. I was like, well dude I don’t know but keep talking and let’s see where this goes (not really I was pretty nice). Long story short, he wanted to express to Mindy, during his proposal, that now that he had known her for all the seasons of the year, he wanted to spend the rest of his seasons together with her or something like that. He knew Mindy liked my pictures so he asked me to supply him with four pictures that depicted each of the seasons.
One day while on a walk with Mindy he brought her to a place in the woods where he had four of my pictures framed and waiting for her.
As they say, the rest is history.
Here Michael pauses to think about something while sharing a story about Rachel.

First: Very cool story.
Second: My 7 mo daughter is right now (1:13am) in the same swing depicted above… and loves it. (Random. I know).
