The Hang 2009 Part 2
Instead of buying gifts for our friend Rachel’s birthday (in the background), Heather thought it would be great if our friends would each prepare something to bring (photos, videos, etc) along with a statement recalling some memories that we each have shared with Rachel over the years. We took a portion of our afternoon sitting around and sharing something we remembered about our dear friend as she was about to arrive at the big 3-0. Rachel means a great deal to me and to our friends. We couldn’t have spent an afternoon better than honoring her birth! My wife always has the best, most thoughtful ideas! Having a bunch of wise guys for friends, the above look on the faces of Rachel and Doug (they’re married) during our time of sharing was fairly typical that day. Rachel, although we may not say it as often as we ought to, know that we love you dearly!
