the process of remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

“The Hang 2009″

thehang2009

Over the next several days I will be going through the process of remembering the awesome annual tradition that several of my close college friends have started 9 years ago.  A couple of people had to leave before I could take this photo and a few more were either out of the country or could not make it for other reasons (A, D & G and Paul and Rachel we missed you terribly).  The depth and savouriness (yeah Karen that’s right) of my love for these people is impossible for me to express in words.  Never am I more childlike and filled with love and peace than when I am around these amazing friends.  Over the next several posts I will attempt to love them through the images I made of them this past weekend.

Uggg. who let the black shirt in the picture? totally ruins the shirt color scheme don’t you think?

I would say the “chi” is this picture is perfect (despite Karen’s black Ephod ;-)

I know! I kept thinking, man how awesome would this picture have been if Karen didn’t ruin it with such a morbid colored shirt! ;-)

Just because she looks hot in black doesn’t mean she should take off more clothes!

Rachel: This just busted me up! XD

Andrew, I love how you love us through your images. They are precious. We missed you all and thought of you all through the weekend. Seeing these pictures makes me long for the next reunion (Charles and Sherry’s wedding?!) when we can love you live. (btw this is Danielle on Allen’s account)

D: Love us live—I like that! Heck yeah I am counting on the three of your guys being there for the big wedding! You already know this, but we miss you so very much.

Wow… do Houghtonites not age? I haven’t physically seen anyone in this pic (Houghtonites, that is) in almost 10 years and yet you all like the same, as well as I can recall! Health and happiness is clearly reflected in these pics.
