“Home Heather”

 heather-sun-pres-off-day.jpg

Heather had a day off of work today!  Since we both have been (together and separately) on the go go go for the better part of 5 weeks it was awesome to just mostly sit home in our pj and do absolutely nothing productive at all.  We read, watched a movie (Man on Wire—two big thumbs up), made chocolate and blueberry pancakes, ordered take-out and watched the sun go down with our disheveled hairs (above picture).  We all need days like this.  Thanks Presidents!

Geek Note: For pictures like this (where there are brilliant warm red tones and the like) only a icc profile aware web browser (ie. Safari, Firefox 3 with icc turned on) will best show these colors as intended otherwise it will most likely look kind of yellowish and dull.  If you have no idea what I am talking about then just enjoy it and no worries. ;-)

fantastic tones, andrew! and despite strong lighting, you’ve retained just enough shadow detail to keep me staring into the photo.

    great shot!

Too bad we’re on the go, go, go again soon! I’ll have to keep this picture in mind as we’re traveling about. =)

I can totally relate to this shot. Last Sunday was one of those days. It was nice to find time to sit down with Jamie and not have to worry about anything else. We are always finding new projects to take on. It was by far a much needed rest and connection that was long over due.

The emotional content is well served by technique. The wistful look is enigmatic.
