“The Long Awaited Dance”

I am not sure if I have ever had a guy friend who desired to find the love of his life more than my friend Paul. It seems as long as I have known him he has desired after that perfect companion to share his life with. Well, he finally found that woman! Although I know very little about his new wife Rachel I do know something about Paul. If you can imagine a brilliant Ph.D. mad scientist southern gentlemen with the curiosity and temperament of a hyperactive 12 year old, you would start to understand my friend Paul. His intensity of character and intelligence is only top by that of his love for his friends, family and God. Rachel, brace yourself because this man has a lot of love to give and he has been waiting a long long time to give it!
My time in Atlanta, GA was interesting to say the least with flight delays and navigating the cultural quirks of the south. However, watching Paul dance the long awaited dance of a single man leaving his bachelor days behind made the trip more than worth it! Congratulations Paul and Rachel!

Aha! Yup! Cultural quirks! I get it. I thought at first that it had to do with, I don’t know, yogurt cultures whatever. Thanks son. You’re the best … helping me out … you know? I’m beginning to feel like, wow, it’s really okay for your old pops to move in the circles where my sons, an upper crust college prof and a high profile professional picture taker, walk.
By the way … congratulations Paul and Rachel!
