“Us” Gallery Show Photos

I’m back from my “Us” gallery show opening at EMU. It was a blast! Who knew a somewhat introverted person like me would enjoy talking to a bunch of strangers about my passion for taking pictures. This show was particularly exciting for me to open because I had never shown half of those images online or in print. Above are photos taken by Steve Johnson of me talking about the theme of the show, my photographic history and process and fielding a question about one of my pictures. Below are some links to news articles about the show opening and more photos taken by photographer extraordinaire and friend Steve Johnson. Thanks to AnnaMaria (an amazing weaver, writer, mother and friend) and Steve for making this an amazing weekend for me. A special thanks to “Hope” for allowing me to sleep in her bed.
Lastly, my father handmade these awesome frames for the show so if you are in need of great custom frames check out his website HERE and use the contact us button to get in contact with him.

hey Andrew – I want one of the photos from your show, there is a picture behind you that looks like a man leaning over a woman, embracing. What one is that? Am I seeing it correctly?

Hey Carolyn. Thanks for the interest and making my day in wanting one of my pictures, but that one is actually not for sale. Hey I want to see your new hair color or at least know what color you got!

Haha. No not my beloved pink shirt, but rather the equally beloved red and white striped shirt.
Hey glad you are doing better. Thanks for your email the other day letting me know. I was worried about you.
