“The River Is For All”

han-river-people.jpg

I have a confession to make.  I am the kind of person who at times can feel very anti-social and as a result cave into myself and shut out the world around me.  It is not a thing I am proud of, but it is the truth.  When I watch people around me enjoying the company of each other I am reminded that we are indeed not made to be islands unto ourselves.  Rather, we are made for each other.  We are made to share ourselves.  With the proliferation of technologies such as computers, cell phones, and affordable flights we are told that our world is getting smaller and smaller each day.  Yet, I can’t help to shake the feeling that the distance between all of us seems to be growing further and further apart each day.  These pictures remind me of the importance of community.

The Han River attracts groups of all sizes, be it a group of boys eating noodles with a nun, a couple in love, or a group of friends.
