the process of remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

“What Up Seoul”

hi-seoul.jpg

Hey friends, family and strangers.  You might have noticed that I have not been updating my blog as of late.  As the title suggests, I have been here in Korea for the past 9 days.  An NGO hired me to photograph some stories for them here.  My time is coming to a close and soon I will be heading back west side (I have another 2 days left).  Tomorrow I am headed to a rural village about 5 hours south of Seoul to follow a grown man’s journey back to the orphanage of his childhood to help tell his story.  I have been blessed to work with a fantastic editor/writer on this job so it will be hard for me to leave this place in a couple of days.  Well, I just wanted to drop a line to say hey and to let you all know that I will return to this photoblog after I get stateside.  Peace.

I was wondering where you were. Glad to see you are traveling and having fun. Have a safe trip back. I am super jealous right now! Great capture of the city life.

Hi Andrew!! Glad to hear that your trip abroad is going well. I’ll call it… Andrew’s Excellent Adventure. Words of advice: remember, don’t eat any raw octopus/squid, and try not getting stuck sitting next any little four year olds on the flight home. Love ya:)

So, son … you think your hordes of followers get the full picture of what a Seoul cab looks like yet? Don’t think so? Well … Maybe you should leave this one up for ANOTHER THREE WEEKS!!!! (atleastit’sincolor) Only trying to help here.
