Part 3

I don’t often post work related images on this personal blog, but I had so much fun with this couple that it hardly felt like work.  We just walked around the city and took pictures as if we were good friends.  I like when these kinds of jobs feel like that.  I will post their photo series the next few days.  Enjoy.

    Thanks Tammy. Two main factors are at play in doing this sort of photography with good results—one you as a photographer can control and the other is mostly out of your control. The part I couldn’t control all that much is the fact that certain people are naturally…well natural in front of the camera (like these two people). The other part has to do with the direction you give the clients and having a personality that makes people comfortable. I have often been told that I just make people feel relaxed and that they easily trust me for some reason. Strangely enough the least important part is actually knowing how to operate the camera. You have expressed your interest in photography in your personal emails so I thought I would share some extra thoughts behind these pictures and photography in general.
