the process of remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

“T: Salvation”

kris-flute.jpg

An artist at the Manayunk Art Festival was selling handcrafted ceramic flutes, all of which my artist genius friend Kristine was able to coax out beautiful sounds from.  Actually, I’m getting into the business of taking still pictures for motion films and this is a frame I took of the artist formally known as Byzantine practicing the soundtrack to the upcoming McG film Terminator Salvation.  Tada tata tah!  Tada tata tah!  Tada tata tah!

That is totally awesome. Best of luck Andrew. There is no question about how well you will do. Your work is completely amazing (which you have heard from me before) therefore you will have no problem succeeding.

Hey Tammy, I guess you would have to know my friend Kristine to know that I was making a joke in this photo. ;-) I am not getting into the movie industry (even though I think that might be fun). My friend Kris is a Byzantine art historian finishing her PhD at the University of Chicago. In this photo (with her shades on) she reminded me of the Terminator dude from the Terminator movies so I thought I would make a little joke about it. Guess I should have been a bit less subtle. ;-)

I found it to be a bit strange, but I wasn’t going to discourage you in anyway. This is a prime example to not visit flickr when you are work. Always ducking and diving the boss woman. Now I feel like an ass. Did you get my e-mail that I sent you the other day?

Hey Tammy no need to feel bad at all. You simply did not know my friend Kris. Beside you gave me a nice reason to laugh today—I needed it too. ;-)

I see it’s been too long since I checked your photo blog, Andrew! I’ll have to get a copy of this for my CV… ;)
