“Party Big Or Party Not”

 big-party-big-not.jpg

Part of the reason I have been so tired these days is because I have been doing a lot of these—weddings.  Those who know me well know that weddings are not my favorite photography jobs.  However, those who know me well also know that I can’t stand not to give 100% of me when I am doing a job for a client.  Even though those I work for would never know it from my body language, I often end up feeling like the Party Not boy, pictured below, after a wedding.  Although, when a client is happy with my work I end up feeling like the Party Big boy above.  Oh weddings!  You play with my heart way too much!

I completely empathize with you on that one Andrew! I just shot a wedding this weekend myself for a friend of my husband. I am just completely exhausted yet anxious for them to see my work. Your work is and always will be breath taking. You some how make it easy. I enjoy every photo you share.

Thanks for the smile, Andrew! I would imagine the little guy would rather be out hunting for frogs or worms! Give him a few more years and I’m sure if you do another wedding for someone in his family, by then he will have become the young man in the top photo dancing with the cool chicks!
