The Process of Remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

claxton-family.jpg

Nine months of fear, nurturing and high expectations leads to frantic phone calls and a tense ride carrying a screaming woman and memories of an Eagles game back home.  Times passes as pain is mildly diminished by drugs and comforting touches.  Suddenly a simple room fills with waves of life’s first breath and all the inhabitants find themselves plunged and swimming through a salty ocean quickly shrinking to mere 19 inches.  The inhabitants have no choice but to touch each other in this small space.  Then like a magician pulling rabbits from a hat, two became three just like that.  Click HERE to see a music slideshow of this 5 lbs. 12 oz. magic trick.

I love the way you cropped this picture, and the way they are looking at each other…a wonderful moment in time to capture.
