the process of remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

Dave and Lori enjoy taking walks.  While walking with them one day I realized that it wouldn’t be any miracle if Gladiola grew up, much like her parents, being highly articulate.  Following the example of her parents, Gladi already understands that talking and walking go hand in hand.  Wanting to contribute to the conversations, Gladi spoke to us through cute, squeaky baby sounds.  Considering that she licks and chews on nearly everything in sight when she is not talking, it’s no wonder she can fall asleep in a moment’s notice.  I hope she never loses sight of the importance of good conversations and the fact that while she was young people carried her through this world.  Being mindful of these two things I hope she grows up having something worthwhile to say and love enough to carry others.

Andrew…I whole-hearted agree that talking and walking go hand in hand. And I very much enjoy your words: Love enough to carry others! Thanks, Andrew!
