Tonight Heather and I went out looking for an anniversary card for our friends Becky and Ryan. During our search we ran across this funny card of an old couple arm wrestling. Intrigued, we looked inside the card and read the words, “Here’s to holding hands another year!” We thought it was funny and decided to buy it when I got the idea that it might be funnier if I did a similar photo of us instead. So after turning our living room into a mini studio with blue and yellow gelled flashes, (I didn’t like the monotone color of the store card) tinfoils, construction papers, light stands and tripods, we came away with a funny card to send to our friends. Happy Anniversary Becky and Ryan!

Well, based on the fact that Heather looks cool and collected and I look like I am about to pass a kidney stone—it can be assured that Heather won this one pretty easily!

This turned out GREAT!!! Better than some card you could buy, and I’m sure is much more meaningful to them. Awesome idea
