I think if babies had the dexterity to be able to successfully manipulate a camera, they would make fine photographers. Ever changing points of views are constantly forced upon them (on the shoulder of a parent, attached to a stomach harness facing forward or backwards, crib facing up and down, on the floor up and down, through their legs when being changed, etc.) That, combined with having the advantage of nearly everything being new to them, I think would allow them to provide fresh insights into the world of visual art.
We adults of course have all these same qualities, but I think sometimes we are less curious. Let us strive to be as curious and care for things as intensely and passionately as babies must. Oh heck, maybe they’re just thinking about their next meal!

I truly enjoy all your photos and comments. Constantly I am astounded by the different views and choices of subjects that you have. I think you have nothing to worry about concerning trying to “be like babies” in that sense. =) A person doesn’t have to look hard to see your love for your wife and your surroundings. Keep up the good work and I’ll be a fan forever.

“Faith as a child. Oh, to look at one and wonder, with a smile, what would it be like to be aq child again for just a little while?!” These are some of the words to a song that I wrote years ago when your wife was once my baby girl! Thanks for the smile! Love you!

Hey Andrew…..babies, don’t you just love them. Looking forward to some grandbabies of my own…both kids just graduated college, so I guess I’ll give them a few years!!! Just wanted to let you know I was leaving GCS….got a job at St. Peters as a nurse….can’t believe I graduated. Hard to leave, isn’t it Andrew! Change is great, though, right??? Please agree with me. I will always stay in touch via your blog…..my love always to you and Heather! Jackie
