Memorial Day Weekend: Day 8
This was my first meeting with my sister-in-law Lori and my brother Dave’s first baby. Her name is Gladiola. She was even more perfect than I imagined she would be. She is now about six months old and I found myself amazed at how perfectly complete she is already. Although everything is new to her, (what must that feel like—everything being new?) she is just like any one of us adults, complete with funny expressions, except on a much smaller scale. Observing her over the weekend reminded me once again how much care our creator took in forming us. She, like all of us, is something of a miracle. I stand amazed.
