The Process of Remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

road_to_catacombs_andrew.jpg

Today’s post comes courtesy of my friend Kristine. She snapped this picture of me at the same location where I also took a picture of her (yesterday’s post) leaping into the air. Yes I know I look something of a cross between a Manga cartoon and a lunatic. That sadly had nothing to do with the photography—-it’s just me. It sure does bring a smile to my face however. Nicely captured Kris, and thanks for being a guest poster today. As promised I will now move onto other photographs besides jumping.

By the way, If you click on the Archives tab on this site you will see that I have finally finished updating it and now every post has a thumbnail and are properly tagged so that you will now be able to find images quicker.

GO TEAM GO !! Andew, I never knew that cheerleading was in your future. Nice form!! I couldn’t help not to make a comment about this one.

    Nice vertical honey!!!

I think my ‘guest’ appearance only demonstrates your expertise, Andrew! My photo (with the receding hedges and cypress trees) is firmly anchored by traditional, perspectival lines! Your flying images, on the other hand, use the angle of each shot to also elevate your leaping human subjects!

    Next time…

Thanks Kris for your kind words, but maybe its just that I make a crummy model (not much inspiration) and people I photograph don’t. Hmmm I knew there was a reason I am always BEHIND the camera. :-)

I’m glad to see someone persuaded you into jumping for the camera as you get so many others to do it!

Hey I know right! Also if you noticed, we jump a bit like each other Bobby—-high and crazy like :-)
