the process of remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

“Psalm 61″

Psalm 61

The idea of a round object casting a heart-shaped shadow in an open book is nothing new (I got the idea from many others online). I like how a certain angle of light and a certain bend on a surface can together with a simple shape make something entirely different.

Peace to all those of you who suffer today.

Thanks to Brian from Greenville for sending us this band and other great material on cancer survivorship. You know who you are and I am grateful for people like you and for the work that you do in helping to fight cancer.

    Andrew,
    Thanks for the kind words.
    I love the photo.
I’ve shared Psalm 61 with a few friends…you have blessed them in a special way…you are awesome!
Hope you and Heather are well.
    All my best,
    Brian

Hey Brian, thanks for leaving me this feedback. I am encouraged to hear that you have been able to share those words with some friends of yours. The very act of a friend sharing words of encouragement or understanding and an extension of a generous act of comforting is powerful on it’s own.

“Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I”…it’s always been one of my favorites! People think that I can’t get much higher because I live on top of a mountain…but…oh yes I can! Thanks to my Rock! Love you two!…Mom Penny

    Andrew-
I, too, don’t want to leave a long message on your blog, but YES, of COURSE I remember you! I used your email awhile back & never heard from you –long story.
Anyway, I’ll try to email you again & see if works. I’ve been staring at your LOVELY pictures for about a year now!
