While walking over to open the blinds to allow the morning sun to flood in today, I happened to look down and noticed the somehow interesting shadow going across my feet. It is a thing I do everyday and I never stopped to notice it before. Nothing extraordinary about it at all. What I cherish about moments like this however is in the way that it causes me to remember to slow down a bit and not get caught up in the frenzied speed of life.
