A Used Bookstore—these are one of my uncle’s favorite places to go when he is out shopping. Let him loose in a bookstore and it might take a small miracle to get him out in under an hour. Now that he is near Boston and me in Philly, these are some of the moments I miss having lived so close to him for several years. On this day, Bobby, his former girlfriend (now wife) Heather, my wife Heather, and I were on a double date at a restaurant called Fire & Ice. Afterwards, we walked the streets of Cambridge until we found this nice little bookstore. Even though we are far apart now, it’s neat that we both ended up in large cities having come from an area where cows and beautiful large landscapes are pretty much the common fare.

Hi Rachel.
So here is an interesting story about this picture and Fire & Ice. As you can see this was posted on Friday. Saturday night I get a call from my uncle Bob to chat a bit. During our conversation, he starts to tell me what he did on Friday. Well, among other things, he said that he and his wife went to the Fire & Ice restaurant (the very same one that we all went to on the night that I took this photo). So I said, “hey did you look at my blog or something?” He said, “no why.” I course you know what I said next. As it turned out I posted this picture on the same day he went to that same Fire & Ice (I think the first time since we were all there together a year ago). Yeah I know it doesn’t take much for me to go….hmmmm COOL!
Andrew
