Heather and I have been staying with my sister Allison and her husband Rich while waiting for our move date of the first of November. During my stay here I am reminded how much of a giver my sister is. She remembered that I like my Korean noodles so she went out loaded up on them. I have also been reminded of how easy her laugh and smile can be. The other night Heather, my sister, Rich and I were having a blast singing karaoke at their house (Rich was by far the best and the funniest of all of us), but I equally enjoyed watching my sister laugh herself silly. I don’t know why—maybe its because I know how difficult my sister’s life had once been, but to catch a glimpse of her laughing uninhibited always gives me pause. Heather and I am lucky to have such loving and giving people like Rich and Allison to house us these past 2 weeks.

Hi Andrew, just found your blog (although I’ve heard alot about it). It’s going to take some time to go through it all. Some day I should try out a blog and see how it feels.

Yo, Smooch!
I wouldn’t expect anything less than your words of appreciation expressed in humble gratitude for the hospitality recently extended you by your sister, and for good reason … Allison is the best! I am enormously proud to have you both as my children.
With admiration as well as love,
Dad
PS Oh … and, RW, too!!

Bonnie,
You laugh is a thing I will miss a great deal in having moved to Philly. I hope you will come visit sometime. We will visit you if not.

Dave,
Mmmm….noodles indeed! Hey we need to find a new kind of kimchi bowl noodles—ones without beef to eat this Thanksgiving. Find any replacements yet?
