For a child, even blow drying their hair is an event to be looked forward to. There wasn’t much hair drying really–mostly the waving of the dryer and pushing away other kids trying to sit with her on her stool. Children’s capacity for the indulgence of play and joy is to be admired for sure.

The one and only Alice for sure! Yes I like the portrait in the mirror as well. It say something about family (how we sometimes sit around and just watch each other)and the environment of this scene.
