The Process of Remembering: a photoblog by andrew huth

wet-flowers-hanging

My friend Allyson from work told me that she would like to see a photograph dealing with the theme of rain. This one’s for you my friend. This weekend looks to be a wet one here in UpState New York. Where I live we having something called the Tulip Festival where the people of the region take a weekend and appreciate the beauty of tulips (wish I had a picture of a wet tulip). I hope the rain stays light enough for people to be out and about this weekend.

A nice day of rain is good for everything. It’s a time to maybe slow down and let things go till tomorrow. It’s a time to maybe re-visit an old thought. Even the slimplest things in life like a bed of flowers need a day off. Thanks for the reminder Andrew!!!

Wonderful picture…..I love the rain, especially in the spring. You captured a purely magical moment.

Excuse me, Andrew! You put something in for Allyson before thinking of me. I am deeply offended. By the way, Heather, you may be married to this man, but he is ours for a good part of the day and we all love your husband very much so watch out. Signed, One Of The Old Broads In The Office

It’s a beautiful picture. =) It’s got a very peaceful, almost nostalgic feel to it.
