Rain seemed to dominate this past weekend. It was cold and wet and the chill went straight to my bones. Somedays it made me want to stay in bed all day with my wife, a warm blanket, a cup of tea, and a good novel. Yes it sounds like of a cliche, but so be it—it’s how I felt. On other days it made me want to take a walk through the woods, get wet and take pictures (which I did—I will have photos from that in days to come).

I found this leaf sitting on the railing of our porch while heavy rain was falling down. Here, I was gleeful to catch both leaf and raindrop in one frame.
